Camping | Mogollon Rim

Last year at Christmas, I gave Zach a book made out of a deck of cards. It was titled “52 Things I Love About you!” Number thirty-eight in the book was “I adore that you love adventures! Someday we will go camping together!” This weekend, we finally made it happen! We packed our things up on Friday and we took off to Payson, AZ! By the time we got to the campgrounds, it was dark and everything was all full! We drove around for nearly an hour trying to find a place to stay. We finally ran into a nice gentleman that let us stay on this enormous campground that was big enough for one hundred people! We pulled out our jackets, got the tent set up, started a fire, and enjoyed the night air!

Those helped out so much while we were out taking night sky pictures!camping-11camping-5camping-3camping-20camping-6camping-7Zach was most excited about fishing! We got up early on Saturday to head up to the lakes on top of the mountain. He had bought worms the night before and new fish bait. He was set! Unfortunately, the fish were not biting! We didn’t even catch one! He was so disappointed, but even without the fish we enjoyed being next to the water and with each other!camping-17camping-15camping-18camping-14camping-13camping-19
