ARIE & JILLIAN | THE GRADUATE HOTEL

It all started in medical school for Arie & Jillian. They started as just friends, though Jillian had a hunch that they might be more someday.  Being friends for some time helped them get to know each other on a very real level. Neither one was worried about impressing the other, so they were open about everything. When Jillian went home to Canada for Christmas, they both realized how much they cared about one another. They were texting & talking from sunrise to sunset! Arie could hardly wait for Jillian to come back from vacation & when she did, they had their first kiss that same night!

Not too long after that first kiss, Arie & Jillian were on vacation in San Diego on Coronado Island. Arie had taken her there because she had never seen the Pacific Ocean. It was there on that beach that Arie asked her to be his girlfriend & it was on that same beach he asked her to be his wife!

Zach and I are so grateful that we got to be a part of their special day! Every moment we spent with them was a blast! They were/are always smiling, laughing & having a good time. Congratulations Arie & Jillian! We are so happy for you!

This was as sweet gift that Jillian had put together for Arie to open before the ceremony.Arie and his groomsmen got ready at a Barbar Shop just down the road from The Graduate Hotel. They got their hair cut, beards trimmed, & just relaxed together.I love this shot for a couple of reasons. 1. This is Arie’s dad. 2. Arie’s dad was his best man! Is that not the sweetest thing ever?!“It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!” (Where are my country fans!?)Jillian requested that there be a first look for Arie & the bridesmaids and herself with the groomsmen. It was so much fun to be able to see all their reactions!

After the ceremony, everyone went down to the front patio of the hotel for a toast to the couple! What a great way to start off the celebrations!
These beautiful bouquets were made by Jillian herself! She has an etsy shop coming soon! Future brides, contact me for her info!
